Gamers and MCs Meet for EA SPORTS Livestyle Thursday at NBA Store in New York

Videogame, hip-hop competition will determine New York winners for February Finals competition

EA SPORTS Livestyle is a celebration of NBA LIVE 2004 and the lifestyle that surrounds it. Part NBA LIVE 2004 tournament, part MC Battle, EA SPORTS Livestyle further establishes NBA LIVE as THE competitive standard by offering registered competitors the opportunity to test themselves against the best of the best. Winners from the New York and Los Angeles events will compete in the finals on February 13th in Los Angeles during NBA All-Star weekend.

DJ Kay Slay - Hot 97 Radio Personality and Mix Tape DJ

Big Tigger - Syndicated Radio DJ and Host of BET’s “Rap City: Tha Bassment”

WHAT:

Richard Jefferson, Jermaine Dupri, DJ Kay Slay, and Big Tigger will visit the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue on Thursday, October 30, for EA SPORTS Livestyle. The competition takes place from 3-7 p.m. as part of NBA “Premiere Week”.

Bragging rights, a cameo appearance in NBA LIVE 2005 and a record label deal with Arista Records are on the line at EA SPORTS Livestyle, an event that celebrates NBA LIVE as the competitive standard in gaming as well as a showcase for the hip-hop stars of tomorrow. This event is free and open to the public.
