Part of the sun won't be visible for a few minutes on Monday!
If that doesn't make you think the sky is falling, then what does?
I'm Chicken Little. You may recognize me from my reputation based on this tiny unfortunate incident in which I incorrectly announced that the sky was falling based on ... well, an acorn landing on my head. I forgot I was under a tree and I thought the acorn was a piece of...err ... the sky. *shrug* It was just a little bit embarrassing, but I'm out to prove myself again.
I was reading on the Internet that there will be a ring-shaped solar eclipse Monday (October 3, 2005). In other words, the moon will block the sun! The solar eclipse will be seen in places including Europe, western Asia, the Middle East, India and most of Africa.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention - I'm starring in the Disney's Chicken Little video games that come out later this month for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PC and Game Boy Advance. These games are suited for the entire family - Mom, Dad, teenagers, "tweens" and the family chicken. Well, maybe not the family chicken, but everyone else should enjoy them.
To read about the November 4 "Chicken Little" movie, log on to www.the-sky-is-falling.com . And to read about the solar eclipse, well, try doing an Internet search.
That's about it for now. Keep an eye out for the solar eclipse and always use eye protection when looking at any eclipse. Talk to you soon!
