Separate Trial Offer Gives Gamers Two Months of Free Xbox Live Service
WHAT: Xbox "Live Web" is a new Web feature that enhances the overall Xbox Live service and brings the gaming lifestyle to the PC desktop.
With "Live Web" gamers can:

Bring their Gamertag to life on the PC. Now gamers can stay connected with other Live players when they're on the Web.

See which of their friends are playing online

View Stats and Scoreboards online. Starting with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Island Thunder (Ubi Soft Entertainment) and XSN Sports in August, gamers will be able to view their rankings through "Live Web."

Get special content. Gaming is more than just games. "Live Web" will offer an array of exciting content around music, celebrities and other fun events that are exclusively available to Xbox Live members.
WHEN: "Live Web" launches August 25 and is a feature only available on Xbox Live.
Beginning this August with the launch of "NFL Fever 2004," many new Xbox Live enabled games will offer two months of free Xbox Live service with purchase. The trial grants gamers full membership privileges on Xbox Live, including choosing a Gamertag and using the Xbox Live service to find their friends and access to Xbox "Live Web."
With more than 100 games playable on Xbox Live by next spring-including 2003 holiday titles such as "Project Gotham Racing 2," "Counter Strike," "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3" and "XIII"-the trial is a great way to experience the best in online gaming at no additional cost.
