EA SPORTS Fight Night 2004 Goes Gold
Electronic Arts, the world’s leading interactive software company, today announced that its new boxing game, EA SPORTS Fight Night 2004 has gone gold for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and Xbox video game system from Microsoft and is scheduled to ship to retailers starting on Monday, April 5, 2004. The game will be published under the EA SPORTS brand and feature Light Heavyweight Champion of the World Roy Jones Jr. as its cover athlete.
Built from the ground up to deliver the bone-crushing action of championship boxing, EA SPORTS Fight Night 2004 is an all-new boxing game that features Total Punch Control, a revolutionary all-analog control system. Total Punch Control allows gamers to throw punches, block, bob, and weave with unprecedented fluidity and precision by instinctively using the controller’s thumbsticks. The game also includes a deep create-a-player option, career mode, and online play for the PlayStation 2 console via EA SPORTS online.
EA SPORTS Fight Night 2004 also includes 32 of the world’s best boxers--from legends like Sugar Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali to current greats like Roy Jones Jr and Lennox Lewis and even tomorrow’s superstars, including new undisputed junior middleweight champ, Ronald “Winky” Wright.
