JOURNEY INTO ODDWORLD - OFFICIAL ODDWORLD: MUNCH'S ODDYSEE(tm) SITE LAUNCHES

Microsoft announced today that they are inviting gamers to take a journey even further into Oddworld with the opening of the official Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee site, at http://www.microsoft.com/games/oddworld/. Flash technology enables players to take an early trip through Oddworld months before they are able to play the actual game. The site also features new screens, storyline details, gameplay information, and an ongoing "Passport to Oddworld" designer diary written by Oddworld Inhabitants Senior Game Designer Paul O'Connor. Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee is the highly-anticipated adventure game being developed exclusively for Xbox by Oddworld Inhabitants, and is due to ship in Fall 2001.

The first Oddworld in full 3D, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee will let gamers embark on a journey through a living world of oddball creatures, off-the-wall action, and outlandish goons. In this, the third game in the Oddworld series, you take on the role of Mudokon champion Abe, and his aquatic Gabbit partner Munch, in a fully 3D, fully odd, adventure across Oddworld.

Abe and Munch are a pair of lab rats that have taken one prod too many, and now it's up to you to help them turn the tables on the evil Glukkons and their gun-toting lackeys. Use their special psychic powers, cool power ups, way out vehicles, and other special abilities to save the day!
