The new "Platinum Hits" program launched on February 11, 2003 with over a dozen best-selling Xbox games, repackaged with the "Platinum Hits" banner.

Platinum Hits program will begin February 11 and will offer 12 best selling, critically acclaimed Xbox games for $19.99 at retail. Titles will be added on an ongoing basis.

Criteria for games entering this program:
Games need to be top sellers, and have positive consumer and editorial feedback in order to make it into the program.
Games have to have been on shelf 9 months or more to be included in the Platinum program.
